Warning: Geek Content below......Duffbert wanted to know what design elements make an iNotes Domino Web Access based database to launch the iNotes UI. Since I had unsuccessfully tried to 'upgrade' normal mail templates to iNotes templates by copying design elements before, I knew it had to do with some kind of hidden design. So I put the old $FormulaClass hack (more on that later) on an 'empty' iNotes template and this is what I got: You can unhide these forms for the Designer client by removing the $Flag field on these forms. I wasn't able to access the database via a browser after deleting these forms, so I looked a bit further and the setting that makes the database (trying to) launch iNotes is the $WebHybridDb field of the database properties. Just change the value to '0' and the database will open with the classic webmail UI. Note: Setting this field to '0' will disable the iNotes interface permanently. It's not possible to start iNotes using &ui=inotes. So this knowledge is truly for Geeks only ;-).  30 September 2005  comments (6)
